There are many ways in which we clean up the markings of municipal roads and highways. They can usually be divided into chiseling, sanding, sandblasting and shot blasting. The most common construction methods are generally sandblasting with a sandblasting machine and shot blasting on the road surface using a shot blasting machine. In essence, the two methods are indistinguishable, the difference lies in the recovery and separation of the source of the pellets used and the dirt and dust after cleaning.

Cleaning with a sand blasting machine is generally divided into a liquid blasting machine and a dry blasting machine. The liquid blasting machine accelerates the abrasive liquid by compressing the air, impacting the road surface, causing certain damage to the road surface during construction, and the pellets cannot be recycled. The dry blasting machine was not damaged during construction, but it lacked dust filtration and caused partial pollution.

The road surface shot blasting machine throws the shot material onto the road surface by centrifugal force, and also removes the residue by impact to polish the road surface. Different from the sand blasting machine, the road surface blasting machine uses the matching dust collector after cleaning. The impurities and dust generated by the construction are recovered and placed in a dust box.

In terms of equipment construction, the sand blasting machine is useful for painting, but has the disadvantages of rust removal, low efficiency, and poor working environment on site. So now most companies choose to use shot blasting machines for shot blasting.
