The Operation for sand blasting machine

Firstly:  Pre startup inspection

Check the air source of the compressor to ensure that the air supplied is clean, free of moisture, grease, etc., and prevent water pollution to the air control components.

Before starting the air supply compressor, make sure that the air delivery valve is closed.

Ensure that all hoses and connecting pipes are in normal working condition, rubber gaskets are free of damage and are installed correctly.

Make sure the equipment is on level ground.

Ensure that the sand blasting tank is clean and free of debris.

Secondly: Sand and water adding in sand blasting tank

Open the sand inlet, remove the downward air inlet hose from the control cabinet, flush the sandblasting tank with water before filling the tank with water and abrasive, drain the flushing water, and reconnect the hose.

Add abrasives into the sandblasting tank (4 bags less, 10 bags more for each 25kg high abrasive)

Fill the sandblasting tank with clean water, and the amount of water should be 5cm of abrasive.

Close the sanding port and abrasive ball valve, and open the air inlet ball valve for inflation until the pressure is closed Put on the sand blasting control switch to start the sand blasting operation. (Note: wait for a while before the abrasive reaches the sandblasting nozzle)

When using, it is necessary to understand the consequences of starting from a large reading, keep a distance of 40cm between the working face and the sandblasting nozzle, observe the results, and then narrow the distance to make the angle steeper to finally achieve a good sandblasting effect.

Thirdly: Re sanding

1. Close the air inlet ball valve

2. Turn the exhaust valve to the “open” position

3. Slowly open the exhaust valve to release the air pressure in the tank

4. After all the pressure in the sandblasting tank is released, open the sanding port to make it open.

5. Add abrasive. Flush the sand remaining on the surface of the sand tank mouth with water and close the sand adding mouth.

6. Turn the exhaust valve to the “OFF” position

Note: In order to prevent the damage of high-pressure gas and fluid, we must relieve the pressure of high-pressure gas and fluid in the sand tank and high-pressure hose before troubleshooting, and then carry out equipment maintenance after confirming the completion of pressure relief.
